Over the past two years, we’ve had the joy of experiencing the magic of Disney World with our two little ones, now ages 2 and 5. These trips have given us firsthand insight into what makes a Disney vacation truly unforgettable—especially for families with young children.

2024: Art of Animation Resort

In 2024, we stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and it was an absolute dream for our family. The larger-than-life characters throughout the property made every moment feel like we had stepped into a Disney movie. The resort’s landscaping beautifully brought beloved films to life, and our kids were in awe from the moment we arrived.

We opted for a Cars-themed family suite, which was the perfect fit for us. With three queen-sized beds, two full bathrooms with tubs, and plenty of space, it made our stay both comfortable and convenient. The hospitality at the resort was exceptional, and we especially loved having quick access to the Disney Skyliner, which made getting to Epcot a breeze!

2025: Swan Hotel

In 2025, we switched things up and stayed at the Swan Hotel, a gorgeous Marriott property that offered an entirely different experience. The proximity to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot (as well as the Disney Boardwalk) made it an incredible choice for exploring these areas with ease. The hotel itself was stunning, with fantastic dining options right on-site.

While the Swan doesn’t have the same immersive Disney theming as some of the on-property resorts, we loved earning Marriott Bonvoy points through our stay—making future vacations even more rewarding!

Perfect Timing: March in Disney World

Visiting Disney in early March was a game-changer. The weather was perfect, and because we went before peak spring break crowds, the wait times were surprisingly low—a dream for any Disney traveler!

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting Hollywood Studios for the first time with our kids. The Toy Story Land experience was pure magic—our little ones couldn’t get enough! Dining at Woody’s Roundup BBQ was not only delicious but also such a fun and immersive experience. And the Fantasmic nighttime show? Absolutely breathtaking. 10/10 recommend!

We also had the chance to experience the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival right as it kicked off. The topiaries, floral displays, and seasonal treats were truly a sight to see!

And, of course, Magic Kingdom never disappoints. From the enchanting parades to the thrilling rides and the pure wonder of Cinderella’s Castle, every trip to Disney feels just as magical as the first.
